Technology and business model

Ricoh has developed a next generation solar cells equipped with the energy harvesting technology of high output at the indoor lighting environment which is applying the organic photoconductor technology developped for multifunction printer.

This mouse is sold by Ricoh as the fitst commercialized solid-state dye-sensitized solar cell for general public, named "SMART R MOUSE".

Sales situation

This mouse is soled as an eco-friendly mouse which does not use disposal primary batteries. In addition, it is soled as a light and foldable mouse for carrying around situation.
