The 13th Public-Private Dialogue "Activity Report in FY2023 and Information Sharing from J4CE Founders" was held.

J4CE continuously holds public-private dialogues as a forum for exchanging opinions to further develop a circular economy (CE). The 13th public-private dialogue was held online on April 23, 2024, with the theme "Activity Report in FY2023 and Information Sharing from J4CE Founders" to provide the latest information on CE measures and policies and to review overall J4CE activities carried out in FY 2023. The Ministry of the Environment explained about the latest status of the Global Circularity Protocol (GCP), which is being developed in cooperation with the WBCSD (World Business Council for Sustainable Development), and an overview of the draft of 5th Basic Plan for Circularity . In addition, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and Keidanren introduced the Circular Partners (CPs) and the status of Keidanren's efforts toward the circular economy respectively. In addition, the J4CE secretariat provided a review of activities carried out in FY 2023, and reported on the results of a survey conducted at the end of the year about satisfaction with J4CE and topics the J4CE member companies would like to know about and would like to see addressed in the future. The secretariat also reported the activity plan for FY 2024 based on the survey results. On the day, 63 companies and organizations and 110 people (excluding organisers) participated.
