Technology and business model

1) Processing waste of films (including printed ones) are collected from film converters.

2) Inks are removed from the printed films with a roll-to-roll cleaner.

3) The films without printing are pelletized to produce the recycled resins, and the recycled resins are used as a part of film products of our affiliate, Mitsui Chemicals Tohcello.

Achievements and goals

Achievement: We have verified that this approach is quite effective at lab test.

Goal: We aim to increse recycling rate and the use of recycled resins with this approach and through the supply chain cooperation in packaging.
