Basic values and policies for initiatives towards circular economy
(1) Purpose
The purpose of the Association is to create a recycling-oriented society in the label industry and thereby revitalize the circular economy.

In order to achieve the objectives stated in the preceding article, the Association shall engage in the following business activities
(1) Research and study business in the recycling of label materials
(2) Education and provision of information to disseminate knowledge about the business
Market opportunities and our strengths in circular business
Although stickers and labels (hereinafter referred to as "labels") are a commonplace part of our daily lives, there is one issue that lies behind this activity.
That is that the backing paper used to protect the adhesive side of the label (hereinafter referred to as "release paper") is treated as unnecessary after the label has been used.
In order to solve this problem, companies that use labels, companies that manufacture labels, companies that recycle release paper, and other related companies must have the same will to make effective use of limited resources.
J-ECOL was established with the aim of realizing a recycling-oriented society for labels.
Together with you, we will promote the concept of a recycling-oriented society and contribute to the reduction of environmental burdens.
Setting indices/targets
We aim to achieve a state in which release paper is treated as a natural resource by 2025.
Implementation system
Member companies of the Label Recycling Association will take the lead in this initiative, and we will also collaborate with companies and organizations that support our philosophy.
