Explanation of technology and business model
Reduce the amount of waste generated by improving the yield in the production process (Reduce). Collect and reuse wooden drums, pallets, etc. used to transport products. In addition, metal scraps such as iron and aluminum, plastic scraps, etc. that are possible are outsourced as valuable resources (Recycle).
Copper conductors are the property of the power company and are 100% reused.
Achievements and goals
The total amount of waste in 2019 was 17,738 tons, a decrease of 1,283 tons from the previous year. The recycling rate was 99.33%.
Target: Improving the basic unit of waste emissions by 1% or more per year compared to FY2015.
